11 Reasons Why You Are Going To Be Okay.

Let's be real...life is hard. 

Life was not meant to be a straight path that comes with no pain or suffering. It is a life of hills and valleys, and when we find ourself in a valley, our thoughts, speech, and actions are not always of God  or for God. When God is all we can think about, those valleys will seem so small. When we desire a relationship with Him, those pits of sin will never be able to hold us down. God is the daily joy that we have and can relish in.

Here's 11 reasons why you're going to be okay.
  1. You are not alone.
  2. You are redeemed.
  3. You are strong through Jesus.
  4. You have worth.
  5. You are not broken or beat down too much for Jesus.
  6. You are the light of the world.
  7. You are the salt of the Earth. 
  8. You are a temple and dwelling place.
  9. You are apart of Christ's body.
  10. You are a citizen of Heaven. 
  11. You are loved and cared for. 
Whatever you need today you will find only in Jesus Christ. Realize that God sees more in you than you could ever see when you look in the mirror. When you think you are unable to continue on or push through this trial you are under, God is able. Because of the grace of Jesus Christ, he sees perfection in those mistakes you have made. He see's beauty rising from the pit of sin. There's no other name or thing that can make you okay like Jesus.

Galatians 5:1 says, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."

Without a doubt, each one of my days on Earth start with a little bit of coffee and a whole lot of Jesus. When reading “The Sacred Arts of Life” by Thomas Moore, in HMXP class, I saw myself in this reading. When The World Doesn't Choose You...

 I was sitting in the Dacus Library at Winthrop when I started working on my reflection for a class. I began to type out my response to a question on the desktop computer when I found myself typing out, "You don't have to be chosen by them because you are chosen by me.
